A Watson
Let’s turn back time to the Dublin Institute of Technology, fondly known as DIT, the hip presence in Dublin’s higher ed scene. At the start of 2019 it handed its reins over to the Technological University Dublin, or TU Dublin City Campus as it is known today.
DIT’s story goes way back to 1887, when it kicked off as Ireland’s very first tech education hotspot.
Hold onto your lab coats, because DIT had some major street cred. We’re talking degrees spanning Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Music, Pharmaceuticals, and Digital Media.
DIT’s alumni list reads like a “Who’s Who” of Irish writers, artists, politicians, business moguls, and even global arts and business big shots.
*The YAC or Student Leap Card Tickets cannot be purchased from the bus driver, they can only
be bought online ahead of travel.
